Today LLC "Spectroflash" produces six models of pulsed portable industrial X-ray generators and two modifications of X-ray generators with a constant potential at X-Ray tube.
Characteristics of pulsed x-ray units are given in table 1. Characteristics of constant potential units in table 2.
If you compare the settings of both classes of devices, we can draw some General conclusions:
1) In a pulsed X-Ray generators, it is essentially impossible to regulate any current or voltage. As a result, they lose compared to devices with constant a constant potential at X-Ray tube.
But they are more manageable, more suitable for use under high temperature difference.
All types of pulsed generators can be used for directional and panoramic radiographic and be powered from the network 220V 50Hz and batteries (except ARINA-1). ARINA-1 is powered by an integrated battery assembly 24V.
2) The generators with a constant potential provides higher contrast and resolution of x-ray images due to the possibility of selecting the magnitude of the high voltage that is optimal for a particular thickness of the irradiated product.
In addition, they have a long life in comparison with the pulse generators.

In the first table shows the characteristics of the X-Ray generators "PAMIR", which is an improved model of the famous series by "ARINA". They differ more X-Ray power, smaller size and weight, increased uptime, compared to devices series by ARINA. Time of continuous operation of the apparatus of the PAMIR is 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes (the maximum time for the entire line of vehicles ARINA).

All devices (except ARINA-1) have remote control, which is connected with the x-ray source through a high voltage cable length of 20 meters and more depending on the capacity of the apparatus. Common to all models is their low weight and small dimensions, the safety of personnel when working without special protection measures.
